Ready for the most diffcult focusgroup ever?

Brief: I've made a online Web 2.0 (SaaS) program for elementaryschool teachers! And those theachers are very critical so I need a logo to blow them avay! What am I selling Tr@ject (thats the name of the program) is an online program where teachers can enter their students scores and print rapports. It is focused only on elemantary school teachers (students age 6 to 12). What makes Tr@ject different from the competition? It's user friendlyness! It is extremely simple to work with. I folled 37signals philosophy of "less is more". Aside from printing raports Tr@ject also enables the teachers to communicate with the rest of the teachers (team) and people from outside the school. It also has a module to keap a digital file of every student! This module is also very important. And last but not least Tr@ject also features an agenda for teachers! What I need and Like Like said before I'm looking for a logo. Preferably with that Web2.0 touch to it. 37signals have great logo's but their are many others! Tr@ject features these base colors (use them in your design if you like): lightblue:#95D1F3 darkblue:#15ADE3 green:#6F8E18
Deliverables: The final design should be deliverad in a vector format (ai preferably) both in full color and in greyscale. Any other format is also appreciated (PSD,....)

Gera2802: @El_Dorito: I uploaded some simplefied designs with less shadows, blurs and better grayscales. Hope you like it!
Gera2802: @El_Dorito: I did some level adjustments in the b&w version. Maybe the @ sign must be darker, the head and legs lighter...but the stones are okay with me, I think this is pretty useful. Or you can choose a separate b&w logo, instead of discolor the original. But thanks for you compliments and feedback!
Nter5: el_dorito, I've tried the variations but they are not as strong as the designs I've offered before. The targetgroup as you wrote are children between 6-12 years old. I preferr to target the "users" of your program (teachers) which are much older. In that way, I think that the used 'symbols' are universal. The briefcase for 'school', the diploma for a good education , the pencil for working. Kindly regards , good luck with your choice and your program in the future (what the results may be...) and I'm lookong out for the results.
el_dorito: Gera8, I like your concept of the last logo very mutch! Those stepping stones are a real good idea.! But I think it's impossible to print well on paper or in B&W. Do you think that you could simply it a bit?

el_dorito: I like the design of Nter5 alot. The briefcase is a nice idea. however the graphic used is not ideal. The briefcase in the logo is an old version, same go's for the diploma next to it. Could you update it to a more modern variant. please don't forget the target group is school for children betzeen 6 and 12 years old

el_dorito: Thanks all designers! Here is some feedback @ aleksander: You are certainly going the WEB 2.0 way. However What is that graphic to the left of the text? Could you explain a little. @Nter: I consulted with my girlfriend (who is in fact an elementary school teacher) and she found that the graphic (hat) doens't stroke with an elementaryschool. You see that hat is only used at the unverisity graduation. Do you have some inspiration in changing it to something more appropriate? @ Indisigns: I'm sorry but those logo's don't really appeal. But please feel encouraged to try another.
IndiSigns: Hey El dorito! I made a design as well, hope it can come close to your wishes. I don't know if you know the game we all played as kids in elemantery school. Kids draw a map on the floor and then throw a stone in the squares and then have to jump in the squares. Well I put this game as part of my design for your logo. It's also kind of a "traject" a road they have to follow. If you like it, but wish I do some adjustments, or you like the idea but hate the design, please don't hesitate to contact me. el_dorito: nter, nide designs! I like number 16 the most. Could you substitute the "T" in the key with something more meaningfull?
el_dorito: I like the idea of mono of "hiding" a teacher in the logo. However it's "to hidden" right now. Could you make it a tad more obvious that it's a teacher? best regards Geert
el_dorito: From all the designs I think that mono's designs have the most pottential. The "professor" and tha @ together in a logo is to mucth so don't feel obligated of including it in you logo.
Kurt: Do you want us to use a name/text in the logo (f.e. "Tr@ject") or rather not ?
